Introduction
I recently saw Moana
with my friends and I was very gratified with the movie. I decided to watch Moana after I heard the claim that it is
among the best animated film produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Actually I have
been told to watch the movie by my lecturer as a guideline and reference to
complete my final year project.
Review
Moana
is
a great movie and I think the movie is among the best animation movie in 2016. Moana is a 2016 American 3D
computer-animated musical fantasy adventure film produced by Walt Disney
Animation Studios. The movie tells the story about Moana, the daughter of a
Polynesian tribal chief has been chosen
by ocean's spirit to find Maui for encounter incredible sea creatures then
restore back the plants and their village after been attacked by a mysterious
force.
I give 8/10 rating for this movie. This is because the
movie is filled with amazing actors who truly make the film be perfect. Moana featuring the voices of Auli'i
Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement,
Nicole Scherzinger and Alan Tudyk. Each character in the movie especially the
main character Moana starring by Auli'i Cravalho and Maui starring by Dwayne
Johnson is truly perfect with voice, and the actors do not disappoint.
I love how in this film just when everything is so
relatable. It is about religion and belief that underlie the life of a society.
We as Muslims also have a religion that guides us in daily lives. Selection of
music and sound are very good because it helps turn all characters in the
movie. Cinematography was great and everything about 3D animation, CGI and
visual effect so awesome till make me focus watch the movie from start until
end of the movie.
In my humble opinion, the genre of comedy and
adventure is currently be the choice by audiences. This statement is definitely
true for the American film industry even to Malaysian film industry. We can see
in our country that many people like to watch a comedy film especially children
and teenagers.
Overall, this is a
great movie with a comedy style and the musical fantasy adventure story all
rolled into one. Moana is suitable
for viewing by all levels of society regardless of race and religion. I recommend to all animation student to watch Moana and study how they created a
quality animation movie.
